Pistoletto's mirror paintings were hugely successful in the 1960's and continue to be exhibited frequently today. He was hugely interested in self-portraiture, but when he began the Mirror Paintings he included the viewer in the painting too. This has been another great find for my research in to the performance project "Forgotten Space".
